Addicted to Air Asia In Flight Menu

Holiday trip to Bandung and Jakarta last year was the first time i tasted the Air Asia in flight menu.

Perjalanan ke Bandung bertolak dari LCCT pada jam 6 pagi (more or less). Perut masing masing menyanyi riang lagu "Selamat Pagi malaysia". Ok. tipu. 

But since we already booked our breakfast, we managed to avoid the hunger in the 2 hours flight to Bandung. (hunger la sangat =_=)

So, we ordered Pak Nasser's nasi lemak.

So the taste.. Hmm quite okay.. ( Since we are hungryyy). We finished our Nasi Lemak in no time. Of course my mom's Nasi Lemak is the best Nasi lemak in town.. hehe

So, after that flight. i am craving for more Air Asia In flight menu, So, i order something  when i am going home every weekend. 

(Maaf orang sebelah asyik ambil bau je ~_^)

So, the second meal i am having was, Nasi Minyak Palembang ala Farah Quinn courtesy of my friend, Sarah. Dalam bahasa mudah, my friend, Sarah bagi rasa how was the nasi minyak tasted like. Sarah can't finish her meal. She said, it was a lil bit bitter for her.

With the courtesy of my cousin, Nadia, i also tasted the Spicy Tuna Wrap. The portion is small and most likely wont satisfied your hunger. Haha

The next meal i tried was during the Air Asia Promotion, The Prosperity Combo (Sweet & Sour Fish Rice,Pineapple Tart & Orange). The taste? Hurmm Delicious. But SOUR. Maybe sebab Chinese New Year, maybe that is why it tastes the sourness of limau mandarin. ( haha suka hati je)

The combo comes with a bottle of Minute Maid Orange and SUPPOSE a pineapple Tart. But maybe they don't have the pineapple tart, instead they are giving me a small bar of Kit Kat Chocolate.

Then, i tried the Roast Chicken with Cream Sauce. So far so good. You can't expect a 5 stars meals in a flight didn't you? I love the chicken with the cream sauce. So do the carrots, Pumpkin, broccoli and potatoes. but the vegy are sooo under cooked.

The latest meal i tried is the Ginger Fried Rice with Vegetarian Chicken(V). To be honest, for me, this the the most unfavorable meal so far. Eating the fried rice and you can taste the ginger right away. while cutting the 'chicken' i was like.

"Eh lembut nya ayam ni. Kenapa macam ayam yang rosak? Macam ayam dah lama?"

So i checked the package again, VEGETARIAN CHICKEN! How can a chicken meal becomes VEGETARIAN? So i read the ingredients, it says, Soya Drumstick..!  So, it is actually an imitation of a a drumstick.

Despite of its taste (rasa yang pelik, sebab tak pernah makan ayam tapi vege),  i managed to finish the meal. ( dah bayar kottt)

So, here you go my food review for now. will be updating more IF i taste other dishes on board.

Sebenarnya dah rasa malu sebab orang sebelah asyik dapat bau je. Wuu I am so sorry. My flight from Kuala Lumpur to Alor Star is at night, and usually arrived home at 10 pm. i am tooo tired to stop for dinner ( n too tired to cook ^_~)

So, what meal should i try next?

psst, I have been eyeing for their Mee Goreng Mamak, Chicken Rice and Bukhara Chicken Briani.. wee

As you can see, i try not to critics the foods given to me, (even though i am paying for it) as our beloved Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) never criticized any food that was offered to him. Whether he likes it or not. (one of the many good examples of him that we NEED to follow) READ

Pre-Book Flight with Air Asia

Assalamualaikum and Hello!

It s been a while. ( Asyik mula ayat ini je =_=")

So, right now i am in the middle of booking flight tickets. YES with an S. Currently i m going home every weekend! EVERY. ( To settle everything down)

Here's my question, have you ever been in this situation?

You want to book Air Asia flight ticket, you finally manage to get an AWESOME promo price. BUT unfortunately, you don't have enough credit in your CIMB Click account or you don't have any credit card near you. 

Follow this simple steps. ^-^

First. Log on to Air Asia Website. It will be easy if you are a member. Type in details for the flight you want.

For example, 

i choose return ticket from Alor Star to Kuala Lumpur on 7th Feb to 9th Feb. 

(FYI, the price on 7th Feb i checked this morning is RM87, but suddenly... it becomes RM29 !! There's a HUGE difference!  ^__^ )

So proceed to the contact details, Guest Checked Bag (and usually i click No Thanks), travel insure (usually avoid this and did not take the travel Insure). Cheh yakin je.. Takpe.. Allah ada jaga kita. 

Click Cancel

Click OK

Then, Continue. Ouh, Untick the check box. Accidentally checked it. Sorry.

Skip seats allocation since it does not matter much where your seating is. You will be charged if you want to choose the seat you want.

Ok, now, let's pay. ( remember, in this case you don't have any money online )

Check the box under the REVIEW AND PAY.

Then, Choose Direct Debit Tab and Click CIMB. The page will navigate to CIMB Click web site so that you can enter you username and password.

Now, Do not enter any details, and close the window!

Re open Air Asia Website. Click Manage booking. You can see your pre-book ticket (the highlighted one)  is on the list. ^_^

Click on modify.

As you can see, the status is NEED PAYMENT. The website will hold the booking for 2 hours ( i f i am not mistaken). At the very least, you can call your friends of families to borrow their money *giggles*. and at least you can go to the nearest bank to bank in some money into your CIMB account.

AS easy as that..! =)

Ouh. Air asia is now charging RM4 per payment if you made payment using CIMB click.

You will be charged RM8 per flight if you are using credit card.

The ONLY way you will be charged without the processing fee is using VISA BIG CARD.

If you don't have BIG Card, apply one, now! 

I am reloading my big card now to pay the amount due. Butm. It keeps saying "System failure". Uff!

Banyak entry nak tulis tapi asyik tertangguh.

Nanti lah Bandung Jakarta trip.

Sedikit pesanan kalau nak beli barang barang yang kene mengena dengan perkahwinan.

Kalau boleh jangan pergi dengan parents korang. Bukan nak ketepikan mereka. Bukan tak mahu tanya pendapat mereka. It just that, eventually, budget you akan lari. Trust me.

Antara sebabnya. Kalau you memang ada cukup cukup budget, mesti you akan survey dan buat research kat internet pasal sesuatu yang you nak beli tu. So, you nak beli something yang simple. Tapi your parents tak de la research kat internet pun pasal tu. Apa yang mereka pernah nampak tu, hat dekat TV yang retis retis kawin. Tu yang hat jiran sebelah rumah kawin grand tak hengat. So, apa yang ada kat minda mereka ni nak yang macam mana diorang nampak. Sedangkan, kita boleh buat dengan cost yang jauhhhh lagi murah daripada mak cik jiran sebelah rumah.

So, kita pun cadang, Nak beli itu, beli ini. cukup budget kita. Then parents kita akan kata, "Takkan lah nak macam tu... Mana ada orang buat macam tu... Tak sesuai lah macam tu...". dan dalam hati parents kita pun mula lah berkata kata, "Kesian anak akau takde budget. Tak cukup duit" DAN parents kita pun lantas berkata, "Beli je lah yang ini" sambil tunjuk sesuatu macam makcik jiran sebelah buat yang harganya out of your budget. Kita menggeleng laju sebab well, lari budget kot.. Lantas lagi parents kita cakap "Takpe, ini kami bayar kan." Ok.. Memang la "weyh best weyh dapat barang mahal tapi tak payah keluar duit sendiri" Tapi malu kot dari kecik sampai besar mak ayah sara. Takkan sampai kahwin pun mak ayah nak sara?

Banyak hati kene jaga sepanjang proses 'ini'.

Mereka nak yang terbaik untuk kita.

Mereka nak yang tercantik untuk kita.

Tapi kita nak cukup untuk budget kita.

Kita tak nak lari daripada budget kita.

Kita banyak nak guna duit after majlis nanti
